Take a Kid Fishing is an Outreach Ministry that takes Kids (and adults) fishing
Kids are encouraged to bring a friend that wants to fish and needs to hear the Gospel
The whole experience is all about the kids!, Fishing, having fun, and sharing with them why we need Jesus in our lives
Trips are usually two kids and one adult
The focus is reaching these kids on a one on one basis that’s hard to get in a large group
We fish from a Pro Bass Boat, the Anglers are experienced Fishing Guides and Tournament Pros who have dedicated there lives to serve Jesus
Taking a kid fishing is a great way to enjoy Gods Creation, the great outdoors
Our focus is on sharing Gods Word in a way that will give the kids a firm foundation and will guide them in the right direction
Some of these kids would never have the chance to go fishing on there own, this is a great opportunity to reach out and make a difference
So many kids are trapped in front of the TV or video games and are being distracted from God and His creation
Spending time on the water fishing is a great way to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it will make a difference in a kids life forever, its a great way to draw family’s and friends closer together
We plan to reach some inner city kids that may never walk through a church door, this may be the first time they hear why they need Jesus, and the first time fishing for most of them
As this Ministry grows we will be adding more anglers and that means more kids will be reached
We strongly encourage that you bring an unsaved friend
The kids get a T-shirt, Photos of the day’s fishing trip and a fishing gift
There is no cost for the trip, we are a non profit organization and are funded by Donations from the Churches, Sponsors and Individuals we serve
In 2008 our plan is to visit the churches in our Schedule and the Events outlined and to reach as many kids as God allows
